Super Bowl XLI Recap

The dis-oriented author is not a big pro football fan. I did however attend a Super Bowl party at a friend's house. For sentimental reasons, I rooted for the Bears. While I am not really a fan, I believe in tradition. The Super Bowl should be in January.

At least if the Super Bowl were in January, we would not have to put up all the Black History Month ads.

Perhaps I am being cynical, but were the big game in January, Coca Cola, Frito-Lay would have advertised their products instead.

As for the ads, I was disappointed in GoDaddy. This year's ad, while showing the GoDaddy girl being sprayed with water, lacked the humor of their previous efforts.

Overall, between the Bears and the ads, there was little to cheer about. I was really hoping that Rex Grossman would become the worst quarterback ever to win a Super Bowl.
