Sushi on a Stick

The dis-oriented author lives in Iowa. As an Iowan, one of the things I look forward to each summer is the Iowa State fair. And nothing says state fair like food. At the Iowa State Fair the most famous food is, Pork Chop on a stick.

The Pork Chop on a stick concession belongs to the Iowa Pork Producers Association. This is a photo of my eight year old daughter enjoying Pork Chop on a Stick.

Actually the Iowa State Fair claims to have twenty different kinds of food on a stick. I have an idea for another item that is guaranteed to be the hit of the 2007 Iowa State Fair — Sushi on a Stick.

The Fair already has:

9. Spicy Chicken & Shrimp on a stick
10. Cheese on a stick
11. Meatball on a stick
12. Hot Dog on a stick
13. Bologna on a stick
14. Pickle on a stick
15. Cajun Chicken on a stick
16. Chocolate Covered Cheesecake on a stick
17. Chocolate Covered Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich on a stick
18. Sweet & Sour Chicken on a stick

I couldn't find all twenty items online but this is a partial list. Nowhere did I find Sushi on a Stick. It'll be the hit of the 2007 Iowa State Fair.
