CNN vs Fox News
Readers may be surprised to discover that the dis-oriented author is a fan of CNN not Fox News. Conservatives have embraced Fox News in a big way but I am not on that bandwagon. I recently heard a pastor friend make a comment about switching from satellite to cable so he could get Fox News. I was in a Marriott hotel lounge in New York and a woman asked the concierge if he could change the channel so she wouldn't have to watch the Clinton News Network (CNN).
This week I was getting my daily fix of the CNN morning show, Robin & Company. There may be a liberal bias to CNN but CNN has Robin Meade.
I remember the day that CNN did their extreme makeover. They got rid of many of their anchors and replaced them with younger hipper looking faces. The hippest of those is Robin Meade. Robin Meade is a very attractive brunette who hosts the morning show. After doing a web search I discovered that Meade is a former Miss Ohio. Her Wikipedia listing indicates that Playboy readers voted her overwhelmingly the sexiest newscaster.
This week while watching Robin and Company, I saw Meade talking about Wal-Mart expanding to China. The correspondent noted that Wal-Mart's Chinese employees would be unionized for the first time in company history. The corrspondent also noted that Wal-Mart has traditionally been strongly anti-union.
To this Meade responded:
What? Wal-Mart China will be unionized because the Chinese government requires it. Just like Google China will have to censor web searches to placate the Beijing government.
Idiotic comments like this make it hard to watch CNN. On the other hand, that Robin Meade is a total babe.
